Florence + The Machine celebrate 10 years of Lungs with new special editions

Believe it or not, Florence and The Machine are celebrating 10 years of their debut 2009 album Lungs, a game changer for the band and an undeniably beautiful piece of music history.

To mark the occasion, the English indie rock outfit is producing a range of special releases, including a double box set of the album alongside coloured vinyl and cassette editions.

Florence + The Machine are marking 10 years of their debut album Lungs, and to celebrate, they’re releasing limited vinyl and cassette editions.

The burgundy vinyl and anniversary cassette editions will be made up of the 13 original songs, with the cloth-bound deluxe box set featuring Lungs alongside a second LP including three unreleased demo tracks. These include an acoustic version of My Boy Builds Coffins, a cover of the Beatles original Oh! Darling recorded live at Abbey Road, and other B-sides.

To top it all off, Florence and The Machine have uploaded two of these unreleased demo tracks, My Best Dress and Donkey Kosh, to music streaming platforms. Listen below.

The special editions will be released on the 16th August and you can pre-order yours here to relive one of the greatest indie rock releases of our time.
