From Paul Kelly to John Lennon: A mixtape about Love and Marriage by Saskwatch

We’ve been falling deeper and deeper in love with Saskwatch over the last few months. From the moment we heard their ridiculously charming tune, December Nights, back in March, we were sold. But somehow they’ve continued to draw us in more and more ever since.

Their new album Manual Override is bursting with life and colour, and if you haven’t heard it you should get off your arse and make it happen. But for us, just one collection of ace tracks wasn’t quite enough, so we asked the band to put together a playlist for us to bask in.

We reckon you’ll enjoy it too. It’s about love and marriage.

SASKWATCH

Just when we thought we couldn’t be more smitten over Saskwatch, they gave us this amazing playlist about love and marriage. Listen below.

First some words from the band’s own Rob Muinos:

Hi, it’s Robert from Saskwatch here.

Here is a playlist I have made with the theme of love and marriage.
Everyone should be free to love and to be loved.
Everyone should be free to marry the one they love.

Love is real, real is love
Love is feeling, feeling love
Love is wanting to be loved

Love is touch, touch is love
Love is reaching, reaching love
Love is asking to be loved

Love is you, you and me
Love is knowing, we can be

Love is free, free is love
Love is living, living love
Love is needing to be loved – John Lennon said that.

Enough said. Enjoy.

And be sure to check out Saskwatch’s brilliant new record, Manual Override, here.
