Happy BIGSOUND Interviews: Cash Savage

We caught up with Cash Savage at BIGSOUND.

One thing Cash Savage kept coming back to when we sat down at BIGSOUND was pretty simple: go to the shows.

Cash has spent years touring and making music with Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, but she’s also someone who pays attention to the artists around her.

A lot of that comes down to community and making sure people don’t feel like they’re doing this on their own.

So when we asked what people can actually do to support Australian music, the answer wasn’t complicated.

Buy the ticket. Go to the gig. Bring a mate. Stick around and watch the band you don’t know yet.

It sounds obvious, but for a lot of smaller artists, having people in the room really does make a difference.

We also talked about the artists Cash about looking after your community, and the new album she’s been working on.

Anyway, Cash said it better than we could: go to the shows.

Big love to Rambla @ Berwick House for putting us up, and to Kali Audio and Sprocket for helping us bring these BIGSOUND chats to life.
