It goes without saying that Rebecca Black may be one of the most interesting artists of her generation – the person who started as a meme, and now makes meme-ish music. Rebecca Black Was Here takes hyperpop queerness, and flips it on its head amid Black’s beautifully raw vocals. While the album’s throbbing 808’s make it a sometimes food, it’s one you can happily keep coming back to.
