Our favourite on screen hero Hugh Jackman turned real life saviour after helping to pull his children and other local swimmers from a rip at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
Footage shows the actor grabbing the arm of a man and pulling him along, as the man holds onto a girl. Soon after Jackman helped his own son Oscar, 15, from the very same rip.
Lifesavers also launched into action, using boards and jetskis to make several other rescues. Jackman could also be seen waving to swimmers in an effort to get them to come in.
He touched down in Sydney yesterday, after a month-long stint promoting his latest film Eddie the Eagle.
