Japanese Wallpaper drops debut album release date and tour

Australian indie pop singer-songwriter and producer Gabriel Strum, aka Japanese Wallpaper, has finally announced his debut album, Glow, along with upcoming tour dates.

Japanese Wallpaper has already made his mark in the music scene, most notably his debut single, Breathe featuring Wafia, a track that was included in the soundtrack of Zach Braff’s 2014 film Wish I Was Here. He burst onto the scene after winning Triple J’s Unearthed High in that same year.

Japanese Wallpaper has announced 18 Oct as the release date of his debut album, Glow, along with tour dates all across the country.

Glow will be released on October 18th. Gabriel’s debut eponymous EP was released in 2016 and features a bunch of interesting tracks. If that is anything to go by, Glow is sure to be an intriguing album.

Japanese Wallpaper has dropped tour dates all over Australia. He has even announced some international tour dates, a testament to his far-reaching fan base.

Contrary to his previous releases, the upcoming album will be almost entirely a solo project. ‘JapWall’ is known as a serial collaborator, but Glow promises to offer a new side to the up-and-coming artist.

Strum will be performing all across Australia starting at the end of October and into November of this year following the album release on 18 Oct.
