Jeff Bezos will be going to space on the first crewed flight of a rocket ship made by his space company, Blue Origin.
The scheduled flight is set for July 20th, 15 days after Bezo’s official date of resignation as Amazon CEO.
His younger brother Mark Bezos will also be accompanying him. Let’s hope it’s a one-way trip.
The flight plan will entail a trip of no longer than 11 minutes and reach around 60 miles/100 km above Earth – in a place named the Karman line is known as “the formal beginning of space.”
For any space enthusiasts, you too can join the brothers as a third crew member is set to join them. Paying taxes is not a requirement.
The member is currently being decided by a charity auction, with the highest bid sitting at a mighty US$2.8 million currently.
Hear me out: Jeff Bezos travels into space, never returns, Amazon workers seize control of company.

The launch was announced through Bezos Instagram post on Monday which was captioned: “Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother. The greatest adventure, with my best friend.”
When me or you have a midlife crisis, we get a new car. When Jeff Bezos has a midlife crisis, he goes to space.

To say the public is bemused with this announcement would be an understatement.
Oh boy Jeff Bezos is headed to space no one cares pay your workers and taxes.
