London jazz drummer extraordinaire Yussef Dayes has just released a double single entitled Duality. Perhaps the most instantly recognisable modern drummer, Yussef locks into the groove with new ferocity and power in Othello.
Following his wildly popular collaboration album with fellow jazz prodigy Kamaal Williams, this is the first thing we’ve heard from Yussef Dayes since Black Focus. Featuring Rocco Palladino and Charlie Stacy, Yussef has employed new friends to create this seriously tasty, disco-jazz nirvana.
