M. Ward aka, the other half of She and Him, and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk, has announced an Australian tour.
Clear the calendar, because, for the first time in nearly a decade, M. Ward, is returning to Australia’s shores. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his third album, Transfiguration Of Vincent, M. Ward is set to deliver a slew of shows across the East Coast.
Embarking on a seven-date tour, starting on February 2nd at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, before heading off to Canberra, Queenscliff, Castlemaine, Melbourne, Brisbane, and wrapping up in Northern Rivers.
Known for his blues-infused folk-pop guitar and piano-driven melodies, in hits Sad Sad Song, and Chinese Translation, and his too many to-mention collaborations, singer-songwriter, it seems M. Ward is ready to tip his hat to what is considered one of the greatest albums of the 2000’s.
M. Ward released his latest solo album, Think Of Spring in 2020, and more recently 2022’s Melt Away: A Tribute to Brian Wilson, under his She & Him moniker with Zooey Deschanel.
