Sydney synth masters MEZKO have dropped a brilliant video for their latest single Journey’s End – their third for the year following the vivacious Golden and the shadowy Steady On.
The video sees the duo return to their proven formula, harkening back to the flavor of French disco à la Daft Punk and Air – as well as 80s noir-pop forerunners like Kavisnky – both sonically and visually. The video once again features heavily both Kat and Larua as they traverse some expansive neon landscapes, wielding their instruments as they stroll through intergalactic territory backed by arpeggiators, spacious synths and rapturous melodies.
Journey’s End salutes the likes of Moroder, Eno and Chromatics, and is lyrically inspired by the idea of relationships across parallel universes. MEZKO have continually been one of the most exciting acts of 2015. Let’s see what the New Year has to offer.
