If you’ve ever been to Sydney’s King Street Crawl before, you’ll know that it’s easily one of the best days of the year. If you haven’t been, this year should be the year to change that.
As venues all over the inner-west put on epic lineups that’ll blow your socks off, the aim of the King Street Crawl to shine a light on Newtown’s unique music, culture and community.
Good news Sydney music lovers! Newtown’s King Street Crawl is returning this September, and you do not want to miss out.
Set to be held on Sunday September 2nd, the festival will link the “varying businesses and venues into one long musical crawl up and down King Street, Enmore and Erskineville Roads.”
Last year’s instalment of the crawl was easily the biggest yet, with lineups including DZ Deathrays and Straight Arrows at The Botany View Hotel, The Pinheads and Crocodylus at Leadbelly, and Polish Club and Ruby Fields at The Marly Hotel.
I think we can expect this year’s run of lineups to be equally epic. And of course, entry to all King Street Crawl events will be free! So no excuses.
Sunday September 2nd. Save the date. You don’t want to miss this. We’ll catch you there.
Venues, curators and line-ups are set to be announced in the coming weeks via the King Street Crawl website. Stay tuned.
