According to the blog post, Cave is currently in Los Angeles working on the album; which would be Cave’s first release since 2016’s Skeleton Tree.
Good news Nick Cave fans! According to a new blog post from Susie Bick, The Bad Seeds are currently in L.A working on a new album.
In the new blog post, Bick wrote that she’s currently suffering from the flu, and is having fever dreams. “He understands that we grievers are vulnerable when sick or when tired and need to be brought cups of ginger tea,” Bick writes.
“Unfortunately, he is not here. He is in LA making a new record. Some of his songs reveal themselves at night in his fever dreams. They are his Fever Songs. What lovely jobs we have.”
This all comes shortly after long-time Bad Seeds pianist Conway Savage passed away earlier this month. However, Savage will still be present on the band’s upcoming live EP Distant Sky — Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Live in Copenhagen, which is set to arrive September 28th.
