Aussie metal heavyweights Parkway Drive have released their new video for Crushed, the latest single from their forthcoming album Ire.
Speaking about the single frontman Winston McCall said “Crushed is a continuation of the musical evolution of Parkway Drive. Lyrical this song deals with the concept of power and control that is the basis for modern society. We live in a time when the lives of the many are lived at the will of the few. Filter information and deceit are used as controls while we are told to fear and persecute rather than understand and sympathise“.
The Byron Bay five-piece’s fifth album, Ire is set for release September 25 with the first single Vice Grip released last month along with a string of tour dates.
