PREMIERE: Hatakaze return with Questions; four minutes of blistering punk brilliance

It was in mid-2017, with the release of their debut single Heavy Heart, that we were first introduced to the crunching punk sounds of Sydney-based four-piece Hatakaze. Since then, the band have released a string of consistently great singles, and toured extensively around the country, refining their music into something truly special.

Today, with the release of their latest single Questions, the band further establish themselves as one of the most exciting emerging rock acts in Aussie music. It should go without saying that we’re stoked to be premiering it for you.

On their epic new single Questions, Sydney-based four-piece Hatakaze present a blistering slice of anthemic punk brilliance.

Throughout the new single, Hatakaze stomp through a blistering concoction of alt-rock and punk to craft a sound that feels simultaneously familiar and fresh. With searing guitars, thunderous drum beats, and flailing vocals, Questions will both slap you in the face and get stuck in your head – its equal parts hard-hitting and infectious.

These are still relatively early days for this Sydney band, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes. Though for now, do yourself a favour and listen to the new single above.

And if you want to catch Hatakaze live, you can do so at either of the following dates:

March 16th – Under Western Skies Festival – Dubbo, NSW
March 20th – Illawarra Music Foundry – Wollongong, NSW
