Sydney electronic kings PVT are in the process of celebrating hitting double digits. They recently reissued of their 2005 debut Make Me Love You on the eve of its anniversary and now they are putting on two special shows to revel in their 10 years together. The shows, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne, will span their entire four album catalogue plus a whole bunch of new material.
The band will be hitting Sydney’s Newtown Social Club alongside Gold Class, and Melbourne Music Week with Kirkis and Pearls. The Make Me Love You Special Edition will be for sale with a limited vinyl release alongisde a bonus B-Sides & Demos 2003-2005 compilation.
Make Me Love You was nominated for the very first triple J ‘J Awards’ back in 2005. Since then the band have released three more records, signed to legendary UK label Warp, scored FBi Radio’s Album of the Decade and played countless shows including the Sydney Opera House and Glastonbury.
