This week will see AFTRS focus on some of their most standout courses: Master of Arts Screen, Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, and Graduate Diploma in Radio programs.

Master of Arts Screen sees students take on a total transformation of their creative abilities. Along with shared core subjects, post-grad students will delve deep into their chosen discipline from ten multi-faceted options: animation, cinematography, directing, documentary, editing, music, production, production design, screenwriting and sound. Applications for this course are currently open and close August 30.

For post-graduate students want to become leaders in the creative industries, the Master of Arts Screen: Business and Leadership is a new course born out of extensive industry consultation. Extending from the skills learnt in the Master of Arts Screen, this course arms students with an even larger set of skills including financial and entrepreneurial abilities, businesses knowledge, and leadership in both the public and private sectors.

For emerging broadcasters, podcasters and radio producers, the Graduate Diploma in Radio equips students with the ability to stand out in a competitive crowd. With options for either full or part-time study, students will learn the essential elements of good radio content, including communication, storytelling, and an in-depth knowledge of your audience. Applications for this course are currently open and close August 30.

For undergraduate students and school-leavers, AFTRS’ Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production is a fantastic option. This full-time, three-year course sees students bring their creative visions to life through the exploration of seven pillars of screen storytelling – Story, Image, Sound, Character and Performance, Rhythm and Juxtaposition, Screen Business, and Production. Being taught by current industry professionals means that the opportunities to develop and grow are endless. Applications for this course are currently open and close November 9.
