If you go to one gig this weekend, make it Strange Seed’s EP launch

Earlier this month, when we premiered the debut three-track EP from Brisbane-based six-piece Strange Seed, we were immediately immersed in the folky psych-pop sounds. The band weave tunes that exist in a world of their own, and ever since we first caught wind of the band, we’ve been itching to see them live.

Well, luckily for us, we won’t have to wait much longer. This Friday, March 29th, Strange Seed will be launching their new EP at Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall in Brisbane. If you’re wise, you’ll be heading along.

This Friday night, Brisbane-based psych-pop collective Strange Seed will be launching their debut EP Seasons. We strongly recommend you head along.

The band’s debut EP, Seasons, is a small yet sprawling taste of their genre-bending sounds. Across its run-time, they weave such a vast range of genres, it’s pointless trying to ear them all out. The result, however, is one of the strongest debuts we’ve come across in a while.

For their launch event, Strange Seed will be inviting Great Såge and EchoWave along for supporting sets. If you want to head along, grab all the info you need here.
