We’re well underway into the silly season, and you know what that means. It’s time to fill those nights with non-stop celebrating. Fortunately, all your festive needs can be found at Newtown’s iconic two-level party zone, The Bank Hotel.
We’re running through what’s on the cards at the venue, namely high doses of live music and a fully-fledged, free-entry NYE party.
Young Henrys Presents
The Bank is hosting some killer nights of live entertainment upstairs this season. At 6pm every Friday, the doors will swing open, revealing an eclectic mix of incredible local talent. All you need to do is assemble your crew and race upstairs, all for the low low price of $0.
Sweetening the deal further, Inner West’s trusty brewers Young Henry’s will be serving up jugs of Newtowner and Cider for only $18. Suss the remaining acts of this month below:

NYE Party
Speaking of December 31st, if you haven’t sorted your NYE plans yet, look no further. The Bank is doing what they do best this NYE, hosting a huge send, across not one, but two levels.
On the ground floor, there will be DJs pumping from 8pm into the wee hours. Expect sets from Dom Alessio & Adam Lewis, Gurugaytri, Mowgli May, Nickles, and more.
Meanwhile upstairs, the shimmering grooves of Bread Club will be taking ya into 2022, with supports from Poolroom. and Betty. All of this is available for free, so be sure to rock up early to avoid waiting in the queue as the clock hits midnight.
