The band first appeared on the scene when Lay It Down was uploaded onto Triple J Unearthed. Four to five-star reviews began bursting through, and the new wave of excitement over their sound helped propel The Rubens’ career. When they released their debut album, it copped #3 on the ARIA charts, and from there, the sky was the limit.
