Armed simply with his acoustic guitar and soaring falsetto, James’ stripped-back rendition was packed with melodic charm and quiet power.
Jarryd James was recently welcomed to the Live at Enmore studio. He delivered a powerful yet intimate performance of his single, Let it Go.
Before James hit the studio, he recalled the song’s path to creation in collaboration with Australian producer M-Phazes:
“It’s a song I wrote in the jungle of Nicaragua,” and further, “I had in my head at the time the feeling of the anticipation of Friday nights and how it hits you on Saturday mornings.”
