This week was no different, as we hosted the phenomenal Willow Beats, who layed down a stirring performance of their track Mosaic.
Following their final ever show at Oxford Art Factory earlier this month, Willow Beats stopped by Enmore Audio for one last incredible studio performance.
Having played their final ever show at Oxford Art Factory earlier this month, this studio performance may be the last you hear from Willow Beats for a while.
“From an outside perspective it might seem sudden, but it’s something that we’ve been mulling over for a while,” the band say of their decision to call it quits.
“I think we need some space away from the project.”
The performance itself is a mesmerising rendition of the original track, with the band altering various elements to create something that feels completely fresh.
“We decided it’d be nice to have some variety in our set, so we start this song with just guitar and vocals… whereas on the album version its got beats all the way through.”
