The Whitlams are set to embark on an Australian tour in what seems to be becoming an annual tradition. Frontman Tim Freedman himself has stated that the band have “settled into a pattern of going around the country as a four-piece once every 12 months.”
“It’s the most raucous three weeks of the year for me and it can’t come around too soon,” Freedman has said. The frontman, plus his band – guitarist Jak Housden, bassist Warwick Hornby and drummer Terepai Richmond – will be hitting the road on a run of dates across September, starting in Sydney and finishing up in Adelaide.
