Melbourne dark-pop trio I’lls have just released the first taste of their forthcoming EP Can I Go With You Back To My Country. It’s called Let Me Have Just One, and it sees the three piece harkening back to their early days with a downbeat, vocal-centric slow burner.
Ahead of their performance at Splendour In The Grass, the new EP will be out July 6th via Solitaire Records. Pegged as being their most adventurous and fully formed record yet, the six-track EP is set to be a personal exploration through moody soundscapes from modular synthesizers, homespun sampling and hypnotic vocals.
Let Me Have Just One follows much the same rule as a celestial journey of dark-rave and left-field pop, and is an exciting taste for things to come.
Aside from playing Splendour in late July, thee Melbourne three-piece will be launching the EP on June 14 at Howler in their hometown.
