Who doesn’t love a Battle of the Bands? Well now is the time to dust off your gear and turn the gas back on. Frank Strongs are joining forces with Frankie’s Pizza to bring you their Battle of the Bands ‘Late Noise’ Edition. The showdowns will be taking place every Wednesday night during the month of May – that’s May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.
The battle will take place at the infamous Frankie’s Pizza in Sydney and for those with the grit to get up there, 10k worth of prizes are on offer. Clearly, you’d be a right fool to not grab your gear and get cracking.
After the first four weeks of the Frank Strongs Battle of the Bands, one band from each heat will progress through to the grand finale on May 30.
For the ultimate victor, an eye-watering $5000 prize is on offer. This will include one week’s worth of studio time at Frank Strongs Studio (where DMAs recorded their latest For Now), a $500 cash prize and a headline gig at Newtown favourite the Botany View Hotel.
The second prize winner will be taking home a $2000 package including a paid support gig at The Botany View Hotel. In addition to this, you’ll receive a Rode microphones equipment package, a studio session with an established high profile musical mentor from the Frank Strongs network and a killer merch pack.
Fear not, third place and fourth place finalists – for you too will be taking home a $1000 and $500 package respectively.
