Last month, when Dani El-Rassi unveiled her debut EP The Best Is Yet To Come, we were immediately tranfixed by her spell-binding brand of folk music. In an incredibly short amount of time, the Sydney-based singer-songwriter has carved out a sound that feels simultaneously grounded and explorative; it’s rooted in earthy tones, but stretches into more vast sonic territories.
Now, El-Rassi has announced that this December, she’ll be taking her new collection of songs on the road, with performances in Melbourne, Newcastle, and Brisbane. Here’s a hot tip from the Happy Mag team: don’t miss out on these shows, they’re guatanteed to be incredible.
With an incredible EP fresh under her belt, Sydney-based singer-songwriter Dani El-Rassi has announced a new national tour. You don’t want to miss out on this.
On her new EP, Dani El-Rassi glides through a brilliant concoction of indie, folk, and pop, delivering something uniquely her own. With rich, textured instrumentation and soaring vocal hooks, the EP is a four-track collection of pure listening bliss.
The release flaunts a short but impactful run-time, immediately showcasing the Sydney artist’s endearingly relatable songwriting abilities. Now, after selling out a string of hometown shows throughout 2019, she’s taking her sounds to audiences beyond for what is sure to be a run of hypnotic performances.
These are still relatively early days for this songwriter, but judging by the quality of what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more great tunes. However, we recommend hopping on this bandwagon quick… so make sure you head along to one of her upcoming EP launch shows. Details below:
