A massive Aretha Franklin vinyl box set is on its way, featuring heaps of rarities

A new deluxe box set featuring Aretha Franklin’s studio albums and recordings during her “Atlantic Years” is on its way.

Featuring six LPs, including her first five studio albums with Atlantic and a rarities album, the special release is a celebration of the Queen of Soul’s legacy.

A massive Aretha Franklin vinyl box set is on its way, featuring all of the albums from her “Atlantic years” and a collection of rarities that have never been released on vinyl.

Due out December 7th on Domino via Rhino Records, the set will include Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You (mono), Aretha Arrives (mono), Lady Soul (stereo), Aretha Now (stereo) and Soul ’69 (stereo), as well as a bonus disc titled Rarities From The 1960s, featuring 11 demos and outtakes that have never been released on vinyl (check out a demo of Dr. Feelgood below).

Limited to 5,000 copies worldwide, the albums will be pressed on 140-gram vinyl and will feature their original cover art.
