Arcades and Lions, Good Lekker and Crocodylus win the last spots on Sweaty Palms’ lineup!

Sweaty Palms is coming up on September 30th, turning Proud Mary’s into a boutique festival jam-packed with some of the tightest Aussie bands around.

The lineup is stacked to say the least, with Illy, Skegss, Ocean Alley and Cosmo’s Midnight taking the top spots. But we thought it was missing something. So we had a little competition.

Big congratulations to these three amazing Aussie bands for winning a spot on the juicy juicy Sweaty Palms lineup!

A little over two weeks back, we asked you, “do you want to play Sweaty Palms Festival this month?”  We received a ton of entries from so many awesome bands, but someone had to be chosen!

Each of the entrants were then posted to Sweaty Palms’ Facebook, and the winners were chosen by how many of their fans showed support. Originally there was only going to be one winner, but so many punters turned up for the comp we thought, screw it, let’s go with three.

Newcastle’s Arcades and Lions tied for the top spot with Good Lekker, a dream pop ensemble from the Gong, coming in second. Old mates Crocodylus took home the wildcard spot, lucky dogs.

Break a leg, fellas!
