Andrew Butler, our drummer, has assembled his kit over many years. The deep snare drum dictates the pace distinct rhythm. This combined with 2 rack toms and floor toms punches out a furious energy. Then the cymbals including his signature China type cause the explosion of sound that sets the Assassins beat alight.
Bass Guitar
Eddie plays a couple of mean Fender ‘P’ bass guitars. These rock staples just do rock bass with no fuss and maximum grunt! A few key effect pedals drive the unique sounds heard on tracks like Believe.
Our sound started in 1981 and through a few years developed into our distinctive Assassins sound. Fast forward to 2023 and the band is still learning, creating and evolving new material. Assassins have a deep understanding of each other and the Assassins creative process. Ideas, riffs and sounds are picked up, interpreted by each member and developed!
