Jeff Bezos has jokingly threatened Leonardo DiCaprio online after a video emerged of Bezos’ girlfriend starstruck while talking to him.
A video circulated over the weekend showing an interaction between DiCaprio and Bezos’ girlfriend Lauren Sanchez at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles.
The LACMA Art + Film Gala is a show gathering notables from the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries, and had appearances from celebrities such as Steven Spielberg, Florence Welch and Serena Williams.
In the video, Sanchez appears infatuated with DiCaprio as she’s seen speaking to the actor with her partner, who is currently worth more than $273 billion, by her side.

People responded to the video by noting how much attention Sanchez was giving DiCaprio.
“Looks like Bezos’ date rather be with Leo,” one person said, to which someone else responded: “Who doesn’t!!”
“I guess we won’t be seeing any of Leo’s movies on Prime,” another wrote.
“All that money and still powerless to keep your girl from thirsting over Leo,” a third said.
Apparently, after all this, Bezos decided the only way he could compete with the actor was by pushing him off a cliff. Responding to the video in a post to Twitter on Monday, the Amazon founder wrote: “Leo, come over here, I want to show you something…”

However, the threat doesn’t appear to have phased DiCaprio at all, who hasn’t responded. Bezos has been dating Sanchez since 2019 after he divorced his wife of 25 years, Mackenzie Scott.
As part of the divorce, Scott was granted 25 percent of the couple’s shared Amazon stock (without voting rights), which at the time was worth over $49 billion, making her one of the richest women in the world and the 22nd richest person alive.
