Beck set to headline Bluesfest 2023

Bluesfest has just announced, Beck will be making a first-time appearance at the Byron Bay festival.

Eight-time Grammy winner and musical genius Beck will grace the stage for the first time next year at Bluesfest 2023, making him the 50th artist to be announced for the festival, held over the Easter long weekend in Byron Bay.

Beck is set to bring an intimate and unique acoustic show, which has earned rave reviews worldwide. Since Beck emerged as a reluctant generational spokesperson when “Loser” exploded from a rejected 1992 demo into a ubiquitous 1994 smash, his career has explored all genres and eras of music, blurred boundaries and blazed a path into the future while foraging through the past.

Festival Director Peter Noble is psyched about this year’s event, 365 in the making, expects nothing less than the best of everything. “We are hugely excited to be presenting BECK, making his Bluesfest debut with a unique acoustic performance. We have already announced 49 artists for our 34th Bluesfest, and BECK makes it 50! His acoustic set will certainly provide an avant-garde element to our already amazing lineup.”

Earlier this year, Bluesfest made the decision not to increase their ticket prices from 2022 prices. The Bluesfestteam has also been busy investing over $500k in upgrading and waterproofing the site. Come rain, hail or shine, festivalgoers can expect a dry and comfortable experience.

There has also been a serious upgrade for campers that seek a ‘class above’ experience you can upgrade to the Rainbow Tipi accommodation this year [with a modest increase in price] as well as experience further improvements with the onsite rental tents. Bluesfest has also upgraded the VIP area for pass holders, which looks set to raise the roof.

Make it memorable, make it long, a five-day season ticket at Bluesfest can be a life-changing experience, and with the Bluesfest site upgrades, stunning lineup and hot ticketed food and beverage suppliers, five days is the way to go.

Bluesfest will take place over 5 days from Thursday 6th to Monday 10th April 2023 at the Byron Events Farm, Tyagarah, NSW, AUSTRALIA.

All 5-Day Season tickets, including festival entry, camping & add-ons, parking and VIP are on sale now via the Bluesfest website.

Bluesfest is Australia’s most awarded music festival and has been recognised as one of the TOP 10 Festivals of the Decade by industry bible, Pollstar in 2021. From its humble beginnings in 1990 the festival now takes place at the beautiful Byron Events Farm (formerly the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm), regularly attracting an audience of over 100,000. Located just 10 minutes north of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia, Bluesfest is well-situated and surrounded by the charming village of Mullumbimby and the beach towns of Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads.

Best festival vibes ever!
