Each year, Bluesfest has soared further and further into the stratosphere, calling in the world’s biggest acts time and time again.
In 2018 it seems Bluesfest Byron Bay will continue the upwards trend, blowing our socks off with their stacked first round lineup.
Featuring some of the hardest rocking and softest crooning artists from all over the world, Bluesfest have outdone themselves with their first 2018 lineup announcement.
After a massive showing in 2017, the coming Bluesfest will host Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant with his band The Sensational Space Shifters, Mr. Hello himself Lionel Richie, and Aussie favourites The John Butler Trio and Tash Sultana, amongst a ton of others.
Speaking of the announcement, director Peter Noble had the following to say:
“Well here it is, the first of our announcements for Bluesfest 2018, and what an announcement it is! Lionel Richie, Robert Plant, The New Power Generation, CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers, Jose Gonzalez, First Aid Kit plus two of Australia’s greatest artists The John Butler Trio and Tash Sultana, who is on fire right now.”
