Nothing will stop this album.
Bugs bassist Jordan Brunoli has delivered a devastating health update to fans, revealing that his stage four colorectal cancer continues to spread despite over a year of aggressive treatment.
The Brisbane musician, diagnosed last year with cancer that had already metastasised to his liver and lymph nodes, shared that a genetic mutation causing rapid tumour growth has rendered all chemotherapy attempts unsuccessful.

Doctors delivered a prognosis of just three to four months in June.
Rather than retreating, Brunoli has poured his remaining energy into completing the band’s forthcoming album, Head Noise, recorded during hospital recoveries and chemotherapy sessions, even when neuropathy left him unable to feel his guitar strings.
With unwavering support from bandmates Connor Brooker and Brock Weston, Brunoli is determined to release the two-year project and perform final shows.
“My focus has always been on enjoying the music,” he wrote, promising fans he’ll play every possible gig. “Watch me enjoy the fuck out of the rest of my life.”
