Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Marley would have been celebrating his 75th birthday this week on February 6.

Bob Marley’s 75th Birthday will be celebrated with MARLEY75; a project involving the release of archived material throughout the year.
A new music video for Redemption Song has been unveiled to kick-start the project. Created by French artists Octave Marsal and Theo De Gueltzl, the video features a stunning display of almost 3000 animated drawings. Bob’s daughter, Cedella Marley, sung high praises of the video in a recent interview. “I think it came out amazing. We went through this six-month process with Octave and Theo going through it page by page, us looking at stuff and approving it all. When I watch it, it still gives me goosebumps.”
Adding to the occasion, Bob Marley’s band The Wailers have revealed that they will be playing Bluesfest 2020.
