Check out what’s going down this month at The Bank Hotel

Another month, another killer live music lineup from Sydney inner west institution The Bank Hotel.

July usually sees a ton of Sydney music fans clear out for Splendour In The Grass, but there’s always a cohort who can’t afford a trip to lush Byron Bay. If you’re sticking it in Sydney this month, here’s a way to get that music fix we know you live for.

Need a live music fix this month? Head along to The Bank Hotel in Newtown to catch some of Australia’s finest emerging artists.

Kicking things off on July 9th will be a Cobra Club show featuring the sounds of Display Homes, Sports Bra, and Optic Nerve. Like all The Bank’s Tuesday shows, this one’s stock free, so it’s a tight option if you’re on a tight budget.

July 11th and 12th will see indie acts Paravelle and Good Lekker respectively, the latter as part of their Prague single tour which is also hitting Wollongong, Canberra, Newcastle, and Melbourne.

The fantastic Gena Rose Bruce will also be taking on The Bank this July, hitting the Waywards stage for her Sydney album launch. We recently spoke to Gena all about the debut LP, so if you’re keen to do some light reading before the show check it out.

Finally, the month will be capped off by a performance from riotous Sydney six-piece Battlesnake. Prepare for a medieval level of madness, this one’s going to be an utter frenzy.
