Diamond Duck’s self-titled debut EP is a stirring, lush and captivating first offering

On their self-titled debut EP, Sydney’s Diamond Duck weave through lush soundscapes of dreamy vocals and beautiful, delicately plucked guitars to deliver a truly stirring, and truly memorable collection of songs.

Throughout its six song duration, the EP showcases the duo’s penchant for unique songwriting; drawing from a diverse palette of influences that ranges from The Beach Boys to Bach.

Diamond Duck’s self titled debut EP is a rich tapestry of lush harmonies, intricate guitar work, and unique songwriting.

Diamond Duck is made up of Jimmy Daley (The Morrisons) on Mandolin, Guitar and Vocals, and Brian Campeau (Green Mohair Suits) on guitar and vocals.

The two have known each other for years – a quality that comes across through their incredible synergy. It often feels as though their voices are inextricable from one another.

Daley and Campeau have worked on multiple projects together in the past, including the indie-jazz rock outfit AKA BAZ.

Though, it feels that through this current dream-folk project, the duo have truly found their calling.

The EP also features guest performances from Oliver Miller on Cello (Noise String Quartet), Anna McInerney on Violin (The Morrisons, Terze Madre) and Gary Daley on Accordion and Piano (The Catholics, Bungaribee), adding to the density of the EP.
