Don’t try to resist the infectious indie-rock vibes of Earthquake Magnificent’s new album Dull Hill

It’s pretty difficult to believe that Sydney based four-piece Earthquake Magnificent only formed a few months back. In that relatively short period of time, the band have crafted a unique indie-rock sound that we guarantee you’ll quickly fall in love with.

With the release of their debut album Dull Hill, the band deliver a collection of infectious indie gems that will brighten any room you find yourself in.

On their incredibly infectious debut album Dull Hill, Sydney four-piece Earthquake Magnificent will leave you with an insatiable urge to go dancing down the street.

Made up of vocalist, guitarist and synth player Charles Wu, drummer Shiv Palekar, vocalist and guitarist Steph Tsindos, and bassist Jacob Warner, Earthquake Magnificent ooze out an idiosyncratic blend of sounds that are uniquely their own.

Throughout the new album, the band saunter through a concoction of sunshine-soaked guitar lines, upbeat percussion, and catchy vocal hooks to craft a deeply addictive brand of music. If this new album doesn’t leave you with the insatiable urge to dance, you may want to check your pulse.

While these are still early days for this Sydney band, I think we can safely expect plenty more quality tunes from Earthquake Magnificent. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long to hear what they deliver next.

For now, do yourself a favour and listen to Dull Hill above.
