Fairgrounds Festival has just announced an incredible lineup for 2019. Headlining the festival is none other than legendary Manchurian rocker, Liam Gallagher.
The annual regional festival, set to run across the 6th and 7th of December, will also feature some of Australia’s hottest musical talent. Most notably, Dope Lemon and Meg Mac.
Fairgrounds Festival has announced a killer lineup for this year’s edition, headlined by iconic Oasis frontman, Liam ‘fookin’ Gallagher.
If that isn’t enough, this year will feature a special guest appearance by beloved Australian country singer-songwriter Kasey Chambers. She will perform a special set commemorating the 20th anniversary of her debut album, The Captain.
The popular festival will be returning to the small village of Berry for the fifth time, boasting a family-friendly atmosphere and music sure to tickle everyone’s fancy. Even more exciting is the festival organisers reducing ticket prices for teenagers for the first time.
The festival lineup also features some other fantastic home-grown talent such as soft-rock sensation Julia Jacklin and dream pop extraordinaire Hatchie.
Liam Gallagher has released four singles from his upcoming second solo album entitled Why Me? Why Not. Shockwave is a particularly upbeat track that characterised his earlier Oasis days while Once is a stripped back number akin to John Lennon, his greatest music inspiration.
Tickets will be on sale from 28th August. Check out the full lineup below!
