We are counting down the weeks until Fairgrounds Festival makes its debut in the incredible surrounds of Berry in rural southern NSW. To get everyone nice and excited, Fairgrounds have just released the playing times and announced a bunch of new activities across the weekend, plus extra accommodation if that’s something you were stressing about.
The day has been mapped out quite nicely with Shining Bird opening the proceedings with their expansive, dreamy Australiana before C.W Stoneking and Unknown Mortal Orchestra round off the afternoon. Ratatat are of course closing the proceedings on the main stage, and anytime during the day you can slink off to the Newtown Social Club stage to catch bands like the lovely Le Pie or Jessica Pratt.
12:00 PM – Shining Bird
12:45 PM – Methyl Ethel
1:45 PM – C.W. Stoneking
3:00 PM – Unknown Mortal Orchestra
4:15 PM – Royal Headache
5:30 PM – Mercury Rev
6:45 PM – Meg Mac
8:00 PM – Father John Misty
9:30 PM – Ratatat
Newtown Social Club Stage:
3:30 PM – Adam Gibson and the Ark-Ark Birds
4:45 PM – Ben Abraham
6:00 PM – Le Pie
7:15 PM – Jessica Pratt
Extra accommodation has been opened to the public too with a final release of additional tents on the site for festivalgoers to rent. There will also be an on-site Inertia pop-up record store and Little Fairgrounds with kids’ activities, a game field and a pool for all to use.
