FBi Radio have chosen 8 amazing artists out of 600 entrants for their Northern Lights competition. Picking a winner is going to be tough.

For those who don’t know, FBi’s North Lights competition gives Aussie artists the chance to win a huge prize including a trip to Iceland to play the Iceland Airwaves Festival (this year alongside the likes of PJ Harvey, Warpaint and Julia Holter), spend a day recording Sigur Rós’s Sundlaugin Studio. They will also spend three days at Sydney’s Studios 301, recording, mixing and mastering the work they did in Iceland.

This huge prize has given the likes of Rainbow Chan, The Walking Who and LUCIANBLOMKAMP a massive step up in recent years.

In the running this year will be:

Christopher Port
Georgia Mulligan
Middle Kids
Oh Pep!

The winner will be announced in early September.
