Saturday night saw Waywards at The Bank Hotel open its doors for their very own Bushfire Benefit, an event featuring a lineup that was nothing short of massive.
Seeing the Australian arts community open their hearts to those affected by the summer bushfires has been moving to say the least. Though the fires are now largely under control, a massive amount of damage has been suffered and every little donation still helps.
Check out what went down when The Holy Soul, Los Tones, The Buoys, Good Pash, and more hit Waywards for a very special Bushfire Benefit gig.
Performances from The Holy Soul, The Buoys, Good Pash, Los Tones, Forest Hall, and many others had the event popping from the afternoon ’til late. The Waywards stage was looking extra special too, decked out in a few sheets for projections as well as a couple of new light fittings.
As is the custom with benefit shows, spirits were high all around. The chords were loud, the drinks were flowing, and the smiles were contagious.
If you were there, peep your mug in the pics below. If you weren’t, check out what went down.
