Arguably the best gallery in all of Australia, MONA has endeavoured not to just give us MOFO but a new addition to the family… their official afterparty named Faux Mo.
A collection of the nation’s best DJs and visual artists will wrap up the days on Hobart’s waterfront. Jam packed with international acts like Dutch-Iranian electronic artist Sevdaliza and Beijing club masters Howie Lee with Veeeky and Thoiid, there’s also no shortage of local talent on the ticket.
Spanning a weekend from the 19th to the 21st of January, each evening at Faux Mo will include eclectic acts and a whole new definition of the performing arts.
Directed by Willoh S.Weiland in collaboration with creative associates James Brennan, Selena de Carvalho, Aedan Howlett and James Walshsome, Faux Mo is set to be a mix of dance performances, live DJ sets and light displays. Of the event Weiland has said “we want Faux Mo to be a bangin’ party where you can bring your grandma.”
