Sydney fuzz-makers Green Buzzard have dropped the clip for their single Phantasy Girl.
The washed out, psychedelic inspired video was made in collaboration with director and friend of the Buzzard’s Matt Dempsey. Phantasy Girl was the first song the band ever wrote, with band member Paddy taking to Facebook to explain “I wrote it a couple years ago when I was living on a farm in Oberon, NSW. The idea behind the lyrics were to tell the story of Green Buzzard, a comic book super hero and Phantasy Girl (& Phantasy Boy) his sidekicks. I was meant to follow on with this idea for all of the songs, but i kinda got over it i guess. It didn’t make it on to the 7″ and we didn’t want it to fall by the wayside. So we’ve decided to release it as a free download.”
