We caught up with Stimpies at BIGSOUND.
Frankston has a long history of producing bands that don’t sound particularly interested in behaving themselves.
Stimpies fit comfortably into that tradition.

The Victorian rock and roll outfit have spent 2026 selling out shows around Australia, building a reputation on the road and doing exactly the sort of thing a good rock band should do: getting people into a room and making a proper racket.
We sat down with Ned and the rest of the band at BIGSOUND to talk about the band, their home in the Frankston underground, touring and the second Stimpies album, Doing Good, which arrives October 9.
Stimpies have had a big 2026 so far. With Doing Good around the corner, it looks like they’re not slowing down just yet.
Big love to Rambla @ Berwick House for putting us up, and to Kali Audio and Sprocket for helping us bring these BIGSOUND chats to life.
