Happy Mag’s guide to Dashville Skyline 2018

Back in June, when Dashville Skyline shared their insanely huge 2018 lineup, we were immediately excited. Later this month, the festival host a huge catalogue of Australia’s best folk, Americana, rock, alt-country, and psych artists for an epic weekend of great music.

If, for whatever reason, you haven’t already snagged yourself a ticket… we highly recommend you go do so now – before it’s too late.

Getting excited for Dashville Skyline 2018? So are we… so we’ve compiled an extensive guide to this phenomenal event.

What’s The Go?

If you’re not already familiar with Dashville Skyline, you’ve been missing out. Nevertheless, allow us to introduce you…

Dashville Skyline is a showcase of the country’s incredible roots, folk, americana and alt-country music. It’s a super laid-back, family-friendly music festival held at Belford in the Hunter Valley over the Labour Day long weekend in September.

This will be the festival’s fourth instalment, and undoubtedly their biggest yet. Do yourself a favour and head along.

Music

When it comes to music festivals, we’re of the belief that music is the most important thing. And it appears Dashville Skyline agree with us on that front… hence why they went and booked such an A-grade lineup.

At this year’s festival, you’ll be able to catch a seemingly endless list of incredible artists live.

Leading this year’s lineup will be Australian folk heroes The Waifs, who’ll be embarking on a national tour at the time. Be warned, this will be the band’s only NSW show on that tour… so don’t miss your chance to catch them live.

Elsewhere on the lineup, local favourites Papa Pilko & The Binrats will be delivering their eclectic, swampy sounds to the Dashville audience, and C.W Stoneking will be performing fresh off a national tour with Queens Of The Stone Age.

With so much great music to see, it’s of the upmost importance that you properly plan out your weekend. Get your hands on some set times, grab a highlighter, sit down, and really plan things out. This way you’ll avoid missing any of your favourite acts.

Dashville Skyline will betaking place from September 28th – 30th at Belford in NSW’s Hunter Valley.
