Here’s when you can expect Download Festival’s 2019 lineup!

Next year, Download Festival will be returning to Australia for the second time… and needless to say, we’re pretty bloody excited.

Held only in Melbourne this year, the mammoth new festival will be stretching its reach into Sydney in 2019… and now we know when we can expect the first lineup announcement.

Brace yourselves, heavy music lovers! The 2019 Download Festival lineup is coming… and this is when you can expect it.

A countdown clock has appeared on the Aussie leg of the festival’s website, counting down the seconds until the lineup arrives.

The clock is set to reach detonation at 8am, Wednesday September 19th (exactly one week away). Judging by last year’s huge lineup, I think we can safely expect Download to drop the motherload in a weeks time.

The 2018 instalment of the festival featured such huge international names as Korn, Prophets Of Rage, Limp Bizkit, and more. God only knows who they’ve got up their sleeves this year.

Stay tuned, friends. Something big is coming.

Head over to the festival’s website to count down each and every second yourself, and suss out the dates below:

Saturday, 9th March – Parramatta Park, Sydney
Monday, 11th March (long weekend) – Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne
