Last night the New Zealand Music Awards took place, crowning the country’s best musicians across a range of genres and categories.
The big winners were undoubtedly Six60, who scored themselves five Tuis including Best Group, Highest Selling NZ Single, and Highest Selling NZ Album. Marlon Williams and Drax Project were also well represented, taking home two awards each.
The winners of the 2018 New Zealand Music Awards have been announced! A huge congratulations to all of the winners and nominees!
Album of the Year was awarded to Marlon Williams for the magnificent Make Way For Love, and Drax Project scored themselves Single of the Year with Woke Up Late. Additionally Alien Weaponry won the Rock award, plus Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Kimbra won their Alternative and Pop categories respectively.
