Less than two weeks prior to the second instalment of their self-promoted festival, Dog Days, Sydney five-piece Hiaground have delivered a moody, energetic, black and white video for their stellar track Lost Paradise.
The track is a woozy meld of indie rock, reggae and psychedelia that will hook you in immediately with its infectious grooves.
Hiaground are a spectacular melting pot of rock, reggae and psych, perfect for dancing, relaxing and everything in between.
Wearing their influences on their sleeve with refreshing confidence, Hiaground proudly adopt the laid-back and danceable vibes of Sticky Fingers, Bootleg Rascal and The Beautiful Girls to deliver a dynamic and exciting sound they can call their own.
The track features on the band’s seven-track debut release Stories, which also contains the band’s righteous single Face In The Mirror.
Hiaground have been turning the heads of live audiences for months, filling up some of Sydney’s most iconic venues including El Topo and The Lansdowne.
The Eastern Suburbs boys will be giving Lost Paradise and many of their other tracks the live treatment on December 2nd when they play Dog Days Festival 2; their very own night featuring Les Riggs (Delta Riggs DJs), The Sea Gypsies, and Marvell across both rooms of the Oxford Art Factory.
The first instalment of the festival in April sold out the Darlinghurst venue when Hiaground joined Thunder Fox, Luen, Wartt Gunn, and many others for a party they’ll look to top come December. If you’re thinking of getting amongst Dog Days Festival yourself, check out all the information here.
