Hockey Dad unveil new track Can’t Have Them and announce tour in support

Wollongong surf-rock scrappers Hockey Dad have released a brand new single Can’t Have Them, plus a string of headline shows on the east coast in support.

Can’t Have Them is the first new music we have had from the duo since the release of their debut EP Dreamin’  which included singles like I Need A Woman and Seaweed which have been smashed on FBi radio and triple J, and been adored by fans since their release last year.

The stand-alone single sees the band working with Wade Keighran (The Scare and Wolf & Cub) who follows a similar path to Dreamin’ producer Tom Iansek (from #1 Dads/Big Scary ) in creating a fat, warm sound for the duo, capturing their vibe as a band who could very well make a killing writing tracks for surf films.

Following a recent tour with DZ Deathrays and Bass Drum Of Death, Hockey Dad will be taking their new single on the road for a five-date run of shows up the east coast, kicking off in Melbourne in June and wrapping up in their hometown of Wollongong. Full details can be found below:
