Meet Seoul’s Eclipse Empire (EE), a dynamic trio shaking up the 2023 music scene.

Eclipse Empire, or EE for those in the know, is a Seoul-based powerhouse collective comprising three fiercely independent singer-songwriters and rappers.

Owen, Marv, and xrface are the luminaries that make up this dynamic trio, and when they touched down in Sydney for their debut at SXSW, we knew we were in for something special.

Fate had a hand in this meeting, and from the moment they walked through the door, the energy was palpable. These artists don’t just collaborate, they infuse their individual brilliance into each other’s creations, forming a collective synergy that to lights up the creative world.

Their guiding light is each other, and it shines brightly. They’re more than just a collective; they’re a force of nature. As we sat down to chat, it was evident that these three feed off each other’s creative energies in a way that is truly extraordinary.

We delved into Marv’s recent EP release ‘Souly’, Owen’s ‘REDRUM’ the vibe that is Jersey Club, the dance movement that is set to commandeer 2023 and beyond with its fusion of popping dance hall moves. 

As the conversation turned towards their upcoming work, there was a twinkle in their eyes that hinted at something monumental in the pipeline. 

And of course, we couldn’t resist treating them to a slice of cake. But not just any cake, mind you. A massive shout-out to Black Star for their Watermelon Cake that had these three in dessert heaven. It was the perfect sweet ending to an epic chat with a trio destined for the big leagues.
