The good people over at Keep Sydney Open have announced plans for another Sydney street rally, this time taking aim at politicians who refuse to accept evidence that pill testing saves lives.
On Saturday, January 19th at 4pm, protestors will gather to “demand action” against inactive politicians. “We have to put an end to the ignorance of this NSW government! It’s costing lives!” the event organisers posted on Instagram.
“How many more people need to die before they get the message?” Keep Sydney Open have announced a Sydney street rally to demand action on pill testing.
For the rally, KSO will be backed by fellow anti-lockout group Reclaim The Streets and anti-drug dog collective Sniff Off.
“The failed war on drugs has killed our friends, family, and others in our community for decades while politicians and police have wilfully ignored the mounting evidence that ZERO-TOLERANCE ABSTINENCE DOES NOT WORK,” Keep Sydney Open say.
“The war on drugs is a war on all of us. Just test the damn pills and end aggressive over-policing.”
